HI Dawn, I have a friend in Estes Park who is interested in growing roses. She is in zone 2. Can you give me some ideas for recommendations for the Colorado climate to send her. I would appreciate some help as I am in Massachusetts and have no idea what would grow well out there. Thanks
Estes Park can be challenging. I have a gardener friend up there and I don’t think she can grow anything because of the weather and wildlife. I’ll do some checking and see if I can come up with ideas. There are Canadian roses. They would be hardy and sometimes deer don’t eat shrub roses. There is a place in Boulder that sells them, Harlequin Gardens.
